1970

35 Bertram Sport fisherman is introduced. 46 Bertram Sport fisherman is introduced. Bertram 25 Sports fisherman becomes the base for the Riva 25 Sports fisherman Cabin Cruiser.


1972

The first Bertram 46, a convertible, and the Bertram 42 were introduced. Additional plant facilities were constructed to accommodate the expanding product line.


1974

The metals plant was completed.


1976

Bertram introduced the 33-foot convertible and, later in the year, the 33-foot sportfisherman.


1978

The 38 convertible was reintroduced in a new configuration.


1971

The one-thousandth Bertram was built.


1973

Bertram starts a commercial division, building boats for law enforcement and the Coast Guard. Israelis purchased 28s and 31s with special fiberglass that would not burn.


1975

The Bertram 58 convertible was introduced and a 42 convertible was added to the line. Also Bertram introduces the 26 Sports fisherman and the 42 Convertible.


1977

The Bertram 58 Convertible is introduced and becomes the first production model with an aluminum superstructure. According to Sea magazine, Bertram 35’ is the best powerboat in today’s market.


1979

Bertram reintroduced the 33-foot convertible and the 33-foot flybridge cruiser.
